We spent all June talking about 'CREATIVITY' and now is your chance to come
experience the magical suspension of time that happens when you get into YOUR
creative zone!
The idea for a fun field trip for adults came up during the discussion following Amy
Tan's "Where Does Creativity Hide" video/discussion evening. Nancy Steers is
making her BrushFire 'do it yourself' pottery studio available for us adults to get in
touch with our creative spirit. The $10 base fee for the evening covers the clay,
instruction, second firing and glazing. There will also be other types of projects
available if you wish to do something different like glass or mosaics at various
prices. If you choose the clay project your $10 base fee includes a second visit to
BrushFire to do the second firing to complete your project. What a great value!
This is also our Potluck night so bring something to nosh on and lets get muddy!
(Not sure those two ideas go together, but it will definitely be a fun, lighthearted
evening to celebrate summertime fun!)
