GANGAJI VIDEO SATSANG
"The Moment of Choice"
Suggested Donation: $8-5 sliding scale according to your abundance
Location:
Center for Spiritual Living facilities, 390 Vernal St, Eugene.
(Formally known as The Spiritual Growth Center.)
(cross streets Coburg Rd & Rustic Pl, north of Oakway Mall, turn east at Blockbuster)

"It is possible, in an instant, to recognize the impulse to escape, and in the face
of that, to stop. In the midst of that impulse, there is a choice, and that choice is
to say 'no' to the escape and 'yes' to the facing. Choice is the most supreme
power of mind."

Following the impulses and strategies of the mind to escape or deny
uncomfortable emotions may seem to be choiceless. But there is, in fact, a
moment of choice to not follow our habituated conditioning. This collection of
conversations with Gangaji clearly illustrates how that moment of choice can be
easily recognized in the willingness to consciously investigate our own tactics of
avoidance. When any thought or emotion, however uncomfortable, is met in the
light of conscious awareness, it immediately loses its authority over our
happiness and well being. Rather than something to be run from it becomes a
doorway to an ever-deepening discovery of one’s true self.

ECKHART TOLLE video night
"The Art of Presence", Part III
Inside Edge - Eugene evening video program
Cost: $8 - $5 sliding scale according to your abundance
Location:
Center for Spiritual Living facilities, 390 Vernal St, Eugene.
(Formally known as The Spiritual Growth Center.)
(cross streets Coburg Rd & Rustic Pl, north of Oakway Mall, turn east at Blockbuster)

In response to requests from the community Inside Edge - Eugene is bringing
back more Eckhart Tolle programming to the Center for Spiritual Living!  One
Friday night a month we will be showing a portion of some of Eckhart's retreat
series.  Tonight we'll be showing the third segment from Tolle's retreat series,
'Art of Presence'.  You can come into Tolle's video series at any point and
benefit from his teachings.

In this video series Tolle discusses how to deepen the moment-to-moment
realization of your essential nature -- the unified consciousness that lives all
things.  He guides us through transformational insights that allow "presence to
naturally arise" and shares how to ground yourself in the vibrancy of your "inner
body" while simultaneously breaking free from the illusion of separation from
the outside world; how to connect to "the perceiver" of all your experiences to
realize the wisdom of spiritual surrender; how to access the higher intelligence
that empowers "right action"; and much more.

Come join us for a great night of Eckhart's teachings!

Friday, November 21st, 7-9 pm  VIDEO PRESENTATION AND DISCUSSION
Phil Cousineau,
official spokesperson for the Joseph Campbell Foundation
"NINE WAYS TO REKINDLE PASSION AND IMAGINATION"
Inside Edge - Eugene evening video program followed by discussion
Cost: $8 - $5 sliding scale according to your abundance
Location:
Center for Spiritual Living facilities, 390 Vernal St, Eugene.
(Formally known as The Spiritual Growth Center.)
(cross streets Coburg Rd & Rustic Pl, north of Oakway Mall, turn east at Blockbuster)

Phil Cousineau, the official spokesperson for the Joseph Campbell
Foundation, reinforces Campbell’s injunction to “follow your bliss” in his most
recent book, Stoking the Creative Fires. He brings us full circle through the
creative process – Inspiration, Perspiration, and Realization – from the initial
impulse to finding the time and tapping into the source, to focus, to be
disciplined, and to deal with the fear of failure or the failure to rekindle one’s
resources, and finally to making it real – doing it over and over again and
keeping the fires alive. He will convince us that creativity is as natural as
breathing. To create is to grow, which in turn makes us feel vitally alive. www.
